A stellar ensemble of soloists from the Mariinsky Ballet guested at the IX. Terpsichore Gala of the Bavarian State Ballet on 8 and 9 May 2010. Six dancers, amongst them the principals Viktoria Tereshkina, Alina Somova and Danila Korsuntsev, starred in Jerome Robbins´ beautiful four pas de deux- ballet “In the Night” on 8 May. The day after, Ulyana Lopatkina and Ivan Kozlov performed “Trois Gnossiennes” by Hand van Manen set to the music of Eric Satie. All dancers were greeted with thundering applause by the audience.
