wph-photo-01For the very first time, the famous orchestra performed at the Swiss music festival Septembre Musical in Montreux on 10 September under the baton of Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The audience was delighted by the varied programme with Les Offrandes oubliées by Olivier Messiaen, Franz Schubert´s Symphony No. 7 in B minor („Unfinished“), Nuages and Fêtes from Claude Debussy´s work Nocturnes as well as Ravel´s Daphnis et Chloë. An ensorcelled audience showered the orchestra and conductor with thundering applause at the end of a memorable concert evening.
